Rostec will present state-of-the-art healthcare and environment-related solutions at the first International Forum titled ‘BIOPROM: Industry and Technology for Humans’. This year, Rostec has become its title partner. The key event for the healthcare industry will take place on October 7–8. The participants will share their recent medical developments and discuss the way innovative biotechnologies can improve the quality of life.
The event will be supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and the administration of the Krasnodar Region. Its organizer is Business Event, an international event management company. It is expected that the forum will be attended by officials from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Healthcare, as well as representatives of top medical companies, and medical equipment and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
The forum will become an exhibition platform for cutting-edge medical devices, products and materials. Rostec companies — Nacimbio, Shvabe, CRET, Technologiya Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise, Ruselectronics, RT-Invest and Uralvagonzavod — will be among those 104 companies presenting their advance developments in the field of healthcare and environmental protection.
“At the forum, Rostec will show a complex approach to finding solutions for healthcare and environmental issues. We build modern clinics and manufacture high-tech medical equipment — around 150 types of devices by far. Our portfolio also comprises over 200 drugs for treatment and prevention of diseases. And we certainly pay particular attention to projects that improve the environmental situation. Rostec companies manufacture electric vehicles, produce equipment and create infrastructure for waste segregation and its useful disposal. So our technologies make people’s lives more comfortable and healthy,” says Sergey Tsyb, the state secretary of Rostec State Corporation.
Over 30 sessions will be held as part of the business program that will cover four main industry-specific areas: biotechmed, cosmetics component, ecobio and innofood. All tracks will be united by their human-oriented approach and the synergy of technologies that have a direct impact on people’s quality of life. It’s the approach that is common for enterprises developing human-oriented technologies.
Experts will discuss how to introduce new efficient drugs, develop high-tech medical equipment manufacturing, and adopt new sources of raw materials for cosmetics and perfumery. In addition, they will talk about waste treatment and disposal.
The business program will focus on such issues as technological sovereignty, creation of new sources of raw materials, implementation of the Pharma-2030 Strategy, regulatory policy and international cooperation in healthcare.
